- Account details, such as email address and profile name.
- Pond records, koi records, water tests, treatments, maintenance and care records.
- Health cases, observations, scrape/wound notes, evidence, photos and videos.
- Diary events, reminders, saved visits and planning information.
- Support messages and feedback.
- Subscription, trial, access and AI usage status.
- Technical information needed for reliability, such as app version, platform and diagnostics where available.
Photos, videos and evidence
Photos, videos and evidence uploaded to Koi Companion are intended to remain private to your account unless you choose to export, share or include them in a report.
How we use information
- To provide the app and its record-keeping features.
- To save and restore pond, koi and care records.
- To provide reminders, diary features, reports and support tools.
- To provide relevant Koi Companion guidance using saved records where appropriate.
- To manage subscriptions, trials, fair-use allowances and account access.

Koi Companion AI
Koi Companion may use saved pond, koi, water, health and care records to provide more relevant answers where available and safe to rely on. Koi Companion is not a vet and does not diagnose fish health problems.
Subscriptions and trials
Koi Companion may offer Basic access, a 30-day Premium feature trial, Intermediate and Premium paid plans. The trial includes a reduced AI allowance and is linked to your account.
Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted providers for cloud storage, authentication, subscriptions, app store platforms, support, diagnostics and analytics where used.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect records and keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, support your account, meet obligations and resolve disputes.
Your rights

Children
Koi Companion is intended for koi keepers and is not aimed at children.
